Upcoming mission
3 Batmobiles
1 community
Backers of this upcoming crowdfunding project will be able to reserve up to 3 Batmobiles that we will customize as a community. I already have a 2014 Corvette that I customized to be a Batmobile, complete with custom bat symbol emblems and several cool gadgets, such as a license plate that flips from MR. WAYNE to BATMAN. Batmobiles for you to reserve
Batmobile Goals
Project Details
The goal of the project is to raise $30,000 to release the 2014 Batmobile as a car that backers will be able to reserve for themselves. The higher the amount you give, the higher your priority will be in the reservation system. This will allow you to be in the best position to reserve in advance and for extended periods of time.
Funds raised beyond the initial $30K will be allocated towards further customizing the 2014 Batmobile. The additional customization ideas will come directly from the backers. The more you contribute, the more influence you will have over the final customization decisions.
A key stretch goal for this project will be reaching $100K. If we reach this goal, I will also release my 1982 Corvette, which I am actively customizing to become another Batmobile. This version will include “batwing” doors, 4 exhaust pipes capable of emitting fire, and a matte black wrap with ceramic coating for protection. It will feature a digital dashboard, soundproofing, and a new stereo system – all controlled by a mounted iPad Pro controllable by Siri AI.
The 1982 Batmobile will also have custom emblems stitched into the seats and doors, race car seats with dual seatbelts, a smoke machine, alarm and remote start functionality, push-to-start, and custom Batman chrome emblems. It will boast LED headlights and brake lights, under-car and interior LED lights, blackout tinting, and various fun switches and gadgets. The car will maintain a battle-ready muscle car aesthetic with a high scoop and subtle spoiler, and the license plate will flip from BRUCE W. to BATMAN.
Should we reach the $100K mark, the 1982 Batmobile will become available for reservation. An additional stretch goal will be set at $300K, which will enable us to purchase and customize a 2024 Corvette E-Ray as another community Batmobile.
On a personal note, the 1982 Corvette is particularly meaningful to me. My journey began when I moved to LA from Hawai’i with just $100 to my name. After a series of fortunate events and the kindness of strangers, I was able to secure a job and buy my first car – a black 1982 Corvette, which friends dubbed the Batmobile. This car marked the start of my Batman phase and was a stepping stone in a successful career in the tech industry, including significant roles at Fandango, CBS, Amazon, and now ID.me. For backers, rewards will start at just $1, granting a month’s subscription to the SECRET IDENTITY News website. This site features real news stories alongside “multiverse” versions that are reimagined in a world where superheroes and villains exist. Higher tiers offer more substantial rewards, including annual or lifetime subscriptions, fitness and wellness products from our SECRET IDENTITY Shop, subscriptions to our SECRET IDENTITY Fitness app, and custom workout t-shirts that reveal your superhero logo when you sweat. Importantly, 100% of revenue from SECRET IDENTITY News and the SECRET IDENTITY Shop is donated to KeepCalm.org, supporting mental health services for underserved communities.
The main reward, however, will be the chance to reserve and drive these Batmobiles. The amount you contribute will determine your priority in the reservation system and the influence you have on the customizations.
This project is near and dear to me, and I hope to share it with you. I invite you follow us @secretidentitydotcom on social to learn how you can help bring this dream to life, connecting with my family’s story and the larger narrative of innovation, community, and the enduring legacy of these iconic vehicles.
A HUGE shout out to Sam and his talented Team – including Mike, James, Alex, Chris, and many others – for all of their hard work bringing the 2014 and 1982 Batmobiles to life (not to mention graciously letting us visit the shop to record progress and most importantly, treating us like family)! Please check them out at Xtreme Autosports.
